Airlife SA-140 is a standalone floor system that purifies and disinfects recirculated air. This is a versatile product: one device removes all types of pollutants from the air, including any viruses, bacteria, mold spores, as well as unpleasant odors, dust, toxic chemicals, allergens, etc.

This air purifier was modeled after the Airlife S330L medical system, which today is used in more than 500 medical institutions in Russia, Europe, and Asia. For example, the largest COVID centers are equipped with these systems, including the Novomoskovsk Multidisciplinary Medical Center (Kommunarka), Demikhov City Clinical Hospital, Moscow Clinical Infectious Disease Center Voronovskoye, and Pirogov City Clinical Hospital No. 1.

Obviously, the most effective air purification and disinfection systems are used in medical institutions. At a minimum, such equipment has passed many tests, is approved by Rospotrebnadzor, and complies with Russian (SanPiN) and international (ISO) cleanliness standards for medical facilities.

Airlife SA-140 systems are based on the patented comprehensive air purification technology. Simply put, a single unit consists of multiple filter blocks, which are interconnected not only mechanically, but also physicochemically. In other words, each filtration stage increases the efficiency of the next stage.

The very first stage is prefilters. They capture large particles such as dust, ash, etc. Then the air is finely cleaned and disinfected by two other filters: a photocatalytic filter and a combined adsorption-catalytic filter. That sounds incomprehensible, but we'll try to explain.

Unsurprisingly, the meaning of the process is embedded in its name. The word "photocatalysis" can be broken into two parts: "photo" (from the Greek word "photos", meaning light) and "catalysis" (from the Greek word "katalysis", meaning dissolution or destruction). Thus, we get "light that destroys". In our case, we are talking about the effect of gentle UV-A radiation, absolutely harmless to humans, on titanium oxide. A sequence of chemical reactions on the catalyst's active surfaces literally disassembles all molecular and microbiological air pollutants (viruses, bacteria, allergens and toxic gases) into the simplest harmless components: carbon dioxide, atmospheric nitrogen, water. All microbiological contaminants are destroyed, including those resistant to UV-C and ozone.

In doing so, viruses and bacteria do not accumulate on the filters. This is important, since many air cleaners simply trap microorganisms inside the filter. The microorganisms are quite comfortable there, actively multiply, and then begin to spread along with the air coming out of the unit. In Airlife systems, this is just impossible, because after photocatalysis there is simply nothing to accumulate there!

Airlife SA-140 inactivates (that is, destroys) 99.9% of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, poliovirus, adenoviruses, coronaviruses, influenza viruses, etc. This was confirmed by independent tests conducted by the Gamaleya Research Center and the VECTOR Scientific Center of Virology and Biotechnology.

It is important to understand that Airlife SA-140 not only disinfects, but also completely purifies indoor air, removing all types of pollutants, including tobacco smoke, dust, city smog, carbon particles, car exhaust, allergens … and even chemical warfare agents. As a result, Airlife SA-140 systems can quickly create a comfortable and safe atmosphere in an indoor space.

These are standalone systems that recirculate air, which means that they do not require tinkering with a building's existing utility systems or altering its ventilation, and can be installed in 1 day.

All the equipment has the necessary permits and meets noise and electrical safety requirements. The systems can run continuously in the presence of people for an unlimited time, since they do not emit any harmful substances into the atmosphere.

The units are easy to maintain, and the replaceable parts do not require special disposal. Additionally, the Airlife SA-140 is not manufactured in Russia, which means that sanctions, lockdowns, and closed borders will not impact delivery dates.

Main advantages of the Airlife SA-140 air purifier:

  • capture all types of liquid and solid aerosols and bioaerosols according to HEPA filtration grades E11–H14;
  • inactivate any microorganism, including biological pollutants that cannot be inactivated by other methods;
  • there is no selectivity in the destruction of viruses, bacteria and fungal spores;
  • remove all types of organic and inorganic pollutants (unpleasant odors, formaldehyde, ozone, carbon monoxide, chlorine-containing compounds, etc.) from air;
  • no harmful substances are released into the room's atmosphere — all reactions occur inside the unit;
  • replaceable parts are disinfected during operation and do not require special disposal;
  • unlimited continuous use of the Airlife SA-140 cleaning and disinfection system in the presence of people is completely safe;
