Airlife S330Lx1000 purification and disinfection systems effectively remove all types of microbiological pollutants from the air, including those resistant to UV-C and ozone. Independent tests conducted by the Gamaleya Research Center and the VECTOR Scientific Center of Virology and Biotechnology confirm that the Airlife S330L inactivates (that is, destroys) Mycobacterium tuberculosis, poliovirus, adenoviruses, coronaviruses, influenza viruses, etc. Thus, Airlife systems significantly reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases transmitted through airborne droplets.

Pre-filter
The pre-filter arrests large particles of dust and litter, poplar fluff, animal fur and soot clots. The pre-filter protects the other filtering elements against early contamination.
Aerosol charger
The unit structure creates a symmetrical electrostatic field inside the element and 99.8% efficiency of charging of the aerosol particles sized from 0.1 to 100 μm at the linear airflow velocity of 3 m/s. The unit consists of cylindrical stainless steel elements with a tungsten electrode with a diameter of 17 μm in the centre.
As high voltage is supplied to the electrodes, the charger develops an electric field that charges all contaminating particles in the airflow.
During the electrostatic unit operation, some ozone is generated to inactivate all types of microorganisms and to oxidize the chemicals arrested by the subsequent filters. The ozone is not released from the purification device as it gets oxidized in the photocatalytic unit.
Barrier electrostatic НЕРА filter
Barrier electrostatic HEPA filter arrests aerosols, smokes and dust particles sized over 0.1 μm that may carry unpleasant odours, toxic chemicals and hazardous microorganisms. The developed technology allows using the polarized dust HEPA filter as a charged particle precipitator to achieve the HEPA H14 purification class at the minimum airflow resistance and impressive dust and oil arresting capacity. The solid, liquid, and biological aerosol arrestance efficiency of the filter is 99%.

Photocatalytic filters
In the photocatalysis process, all gas air pollutants (unpleasant odours, toxic gases, allergens, viruses, bacteria etc.) are adsorbed on the photocatalyst surface and mineralized to simple, harmless components (carbon dioxide, water and atmospheric nitrogen) as they are exposed to soft UV-radiation (diapason A). Instead of accumulating on the filter, the pollutants are fully decomposed, so that the photocatalytic filter regenerates during operation.
The photocatalytic filter inactivates all types of microorganisms and oxidizes the toxic chemicals, including the ozone that is generated in the electrostatic unit.
UV-A irradiation devices
Ultraviolet radiation activates the photocatalyst. In AIRLIFE air purifiers, the irradiation devices with the radiation diapason of 320-400 nm (UV-A diapason) are used; this is why the equipment can be used in the presence of people for an unlimited time. Due to the soft ultraviolet radiation, ozone is not generated.
Adsorption-catalytic filter
The adsorption-catalytic filter prevents the breakthrough of harmful substances during burst releases, as they are adsorbed on the surface of a catalytically active sorbent. The patented technology of a combination of the adsorption and photocatalytic filters keeps the sorbent catalytically active and regenerable in the operation process.

Фотокаталитические фильтры – при фотокатализе все газофазные загрязнители воздуха (неприятные запахи, токсичные газы, аллергены, вирусы, бактерии и т. д.) адсорбируются на поверхности фотокатализатора и под действием мягкого ультрафиолетового излучения (диапазона А) минерализуются и разлагаются до простейших, безвредных составляющих (углекислый газ, вода и атмосферный азот). В процессе работы загрязнители не накапливаются на фильтре, а полностью разлагаются, таким образом фотокаталитический фильтр саморегенерируется при использовании. На фотокаталитическом фильтре инактивируются любые типы микроорганизмов и окисляются токсичные химические вещества, в т.ч. числе озон который образуется в электростатическом блоке.
